Frosted Robin

6 Flares 6 Flares ×

I love me some cupcakes.

Five months ago, Cayman finally joined the cupcake fad with the opening of Frosted Robin in Camana Bay.  Their website boasts 37 ‘classic cupcakes’ and they also launch new stuff – ‘extraordinary cupcakes’ – every month.  That’s my kind of cupcake cafe.  At more than $2.50 a pop, its not a luxury we treat ourselves to all that often but they’re worth every penny.

We got six flavors: Lemon, Cookies & Cream, Caribbean Carrot, Cherry Cheesecake, Pineapple and Guava

While we’re here, I want to send out some incredibly BIG THANKS! to Tina over at Flourtrader for giving me the Cherry On Top award.  I’d like to pass it along to some of my favorite fellow food bloggers 🙂

And finally, it seems like September is the time to travel.  Loads of bloggy friends are out exploring the world, hanging with their families/friends and eating fabulous ethnic food.  Who are we to stray from convention?  After today’s post, it’ll will be radio silence on The Deep Dish for a week or two but never fear, we’ll be back soon and hopefully with some great swag to share with you!

Isn’t she pretty?
Classic Cupcake – $2.75
Extraordinary Cupcake – $2.90
All prices in CI dollars.  $1 CI = $1.25 US.

Ps: it was quite a battle with my stick blender, not only the kitchen was covered, but I was as well!
